Join us for a gentle yoga class specifically designed with the heart patient in mind. We will explore ways to manage the physical, emotional and spiritual stress that follows a cardiac event or a diagnosis of heart disease. We will learn modified yoga postures (using chairs and props for support), simple sequencing as well as restorative yoga postures. We will explore breath work, relaxation and meditation as ways to support your cardiovascular health and manage your stress. Mats and props will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes, bring water and a sweatshirt/sweater.


This monthly support group provides an opportunity for patients and their families/significant others to share information and gain support during their treatment and recovery. Guest speakers will give brief presentations at each meeting on topics of interest to group members. Registration required

A registered and licensed dietitian will conduct a thorough health evaluation and create personalized nutrition and exercise strategy to meet your specific health concerns. By appointment @ $85/hour or half an hour @$45.


In this class, we will practice the first of the three Taiji two-person exercises, Tui Shou (Push Hands), the second step (after the solo form) on the path to Taiji mastery. Its purpose is to learn the sole "technique" of Taiji, Ti Fang: "Attract into emptiness, join, discharge." We will also use the principles of Tui Shou to improve our form. To qualify for this class, students must already have learned a complete Taiji solo form.


Balance is complex and includes touch, vision, and vestibular sensors, many of which can be examined and treated to reduce symptoms. A physical therapist from Suburban Hospital will keep you on your toes wile sharing tips to improve your balance and avoid possible falls. Learn specifics about diagnoses on related injuries and rehabilitation.

Improve your memory, coordination, balance, and flexibility through Tai Chi using gentle, flowing movements. Wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes. Appropriate for Beginners.
