15th Annual Women's Health Symposium

Women have their own set of cardiovascular risks, which are often neglected due to their role as family caretakers. Join us for an interactive evening as Dr. Philip Corcoran and Dr. Jennifer Lawton discuss the research behind how a woman's heart differs from a man's as well as the effect stress can have on a woman's heart.

Dr. Philip Corcoran is a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon at Suburban Hospital.

Dr. Jennifer Lawton is a professor and associate chief of the Johns Hopkins Division of Cardiac Surgery as well as the director of the Cardiac Surgery Research Laboratory at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Made possible by the J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Endowment for Women's Health.
